Holy Saviour's School library is a welcoming, well-used resource amongst students, staff and parents. Students attend library sessions once weekly with their classroom teacher who focuses on developing a passion for reading by exposing a variety of texts to the students. Our library-technician supports the library program by getting to know the children's interests and seeking out new and varied texts for students and classrooms.

The school library is open three mornings per week (Tuesday to Thursday) before school so that students and parents may browse, spend time reading and borrow items.

Each year, the Children's Book Council of Australia holds special celebrations during Book Week in which Holy Saviour takes part. As a school we read the shortlisted picture books of the year and give our thoughts as to which one should win and why. We also hold a themed dress-up day based on favourite books and characters during Book Week.
